Bridge to Orientation

What will we be doing?

In addition to preparing you for your college experience, students will enjoy excursions to Pasadena and Downtown Los Angeles, where we will study the architecture, history, and culture of the surrounding areas near Providence Christian College. Your experiences will be led by faculty from Providence, giving you the opportunity to establish early connections with your college professors.

Where will you stay?

Students will be housed in ‘The Village” which is where you will be living during your time at Providence!

When?

The “Bridge to Orientation” program will run from August 12 to 16, 2025. Students will move into their apartments on the morning of Tuesday, Aug 12, 2025. All new students are required to participate in the bridge and orientation program. Classes will begin on August 18!

How much does it cost?

The program is being funded by the Hispanic Serving Institution grant which Providence received in the Fall of 2023. All housing, food, and attraction costs are fully covered. The only cost to you is getting to the campus and any incidental expenses.

What should I expect to experience?

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the area that you will be living in as a student at Providence and to connect to the faculty and other students while engaging in experiential learning opportunities that will engage your whole person! We will be learning AND having fun!
