2025-2026 Tuition
- Full-time (12 to 20 credit hours per semester): $19,821/semester ~ $39,642/year
- Overload/Part-time (under 12 and over 20 credit hours per semester): $1,577/credit hour
- Audit fee:
- Matriculated students No charge
- Non-matriculated students $34/credit hour
- Alumni students $17/credit hour
(permission granted based on space available and instructor approval). Course fees must be paid.
**Exceptions to overload charges may only be waived by the Business Office.**
Room & Board
Shared apartment: $4,452/semester~$8,904/year
Meal Plan Options
FlexPlan – Full: $1,750/Semester~$3,500/year
All resident students with less than 24 earned credit hours at the end of the previous semester are required to enroll in the FlexPlan Full meal plan.
FlexPlan – Half: $875/Semester~$1,750/year
Resident students with 24 or more earned credit hours at the end of the previous semester must enroll in at least the FlexPlan Half meal plan and may elect to enroll in the full meal plan.
Meal Plan Admin Fee: $25/Semester~$50/Year
All students enrolled in any meal plan will be charged an administration fee. This fee is non-refundable.
Fees
Student Activity Fee: $200/year
The Student Activity Fee is applied toward the expense of student publications, clubs, class officers, and co-curricular activities, including intramurals.
Student Services Fee: $375/year
Technology services and support, phones services, postal services, cashiers office, parking, campus safety.
New Student Orientation Fee: $350 (one-time fee)
The New Student Orientation Fee is a one-time fee to help cover the cost for the student orientation and retreat (SOAR). Transfer students who come in after 1st semester will be charged a prorated fee of $150.
Medical Insurance:
Students will be required to show proof of medical insurance coverage.

Enrollment Deposit
- $100 Enrollment Deposit:
- The enrollment deposit serves as a confirmation of a new student’s plan to enroll and is applied toward charges on the student account for the coming semester. Deposits are due by May 1 for the fall and November 1 for the spring, and within 10 days of acceptance for students accepted after the deposit due dates. Deposits are only refundable if a request is made in writing to the business office prior to the due date.

Tuition Billing and Payment Procedures
Financial Aid
If you have not already been awarded a financial aid package, please contact the Financial Aid office to begin the process. You will need to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Our federal code for the FAFSA is 041539. You will not be placed in college housing until your FAFSA and all other necessary information for financial aid has been submitted to Providence.
If you have received an official financial aid award, please complete the steps below:
- Return requested forms that were mailed to you with your financial aid package
- Apply for the Direct Parent PLUS Loan and/or any other alternative loans if needed
- Complete the VFAO – Virtual Financial Aid Office application if you want to receive federal grants and loans. See Federal Financial Aid section on this website for more information.

Tuition Billing and Payment Procedures
Your first tuition payment is due by August 1. Your billing statement will arrive in July.
- If you have not yet paid your $100 enrollment deposit signifying your intent to attend Providence, please go to the Enrollment Deposit payment page. Your enrollment deposit will be credited to your account on your invoice.
- Costs and payment procedures 19-20 — This document will explain tuition, fees, billing, and payment.
- Payment Plan Application — This form must be completed if you desire to pay off your student account balance throughout the semester (four-month plan). If you do NOT apply for the payment plan, it is expected that you will pay for your first semester in full upon receipt of your billing statement or by August 1.
