Providence Christian College will be adding the Marilyn DeGroot Health Science Concentration beginning Fall 2017. This concentration provides
a foundation for students interested in health sciences careers and for students needing to ful ll most of the prerequisites for nursing, health care education, health care management, and for preparation for entry- level master’s in nursing programs. In addition to providing a broad liberal studies degree, it also o ers a number of courses that may be required for pre-medical and graduate work in physical therapy. The Providence Film Production Club competed in the 2017 Prairie Grass Film Challenge, a contest that required lm students to make a short movie in a mere 48 hours. Students collaborated on their next cinematic masterpiece titled,
“The Wreckoning,” a comedy about a group of stranded plane passengers who must try to survive together in a forest.
