Student Life Community Director

After graduating Providence in the spring of 2015 with concentrations in Biblical & Theological Studies and Visual Arts, Johnathan quickly returned to Providence in the summer of 2015, this time joining the Providence staff as a community director.

He is excited to continue to be a part of Providence, specifically in the area of student life because of its integral role in aiding in the students’ education outside the class room. Johnathan believes that Providence has something unique to offer young people in these times where critical thought, community values, and seeking after God’s instruction are predominantly absent. Providence’s core values are the core of student life, and Johnathan is excited to be used by God to develop critical, creative, and communal students that ultimately seek to follow God in all areas of life.

He and his wife Evelyn love to travel, visit art galleries, go to concerts, hike, read, watch T.V. shows and movies, and seek adventure. They attend Christ Reformed Church (URC) in Anaheim.

“Liberal arts is a conversation through which we obtain wisdom. True wisdom, then, founded in the fear and love of the Lord, engenders a desire for a deeper knowledge and love of one another, teaches us and aids us in forgiving and reconciling with one another and encourages us to explore together the limitless implications of our redeemed existence on this earth.”

“Christianity is the greatest intellectual system the mind of man has ever touched.”
