Providence Christian College is pleased to introduce Michael Kiledjian as the new Director of Advancement. Michael comes to Providence with a broad résumé in development and planned giving. He is a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, which was evident in his time doing development work for Westminster Seminary California, and most recently, the White Horse Inn.
“I’m truly thankful for the visionary commitment of the wonderful folks who have seen and supported the need for a distinctly Christian liberal arts college in the West and I’m delighted to join their labor to see this enterprise thrive to the glory of God,” Mr. Kiledjian said.
Michael also spent time in the private sector as an investment advisor and hedge fund manager through which he developed a passion for the idea of planned giving toward Reformed causes. A native of the San Fernando Valley, Michael graduated in 1994 with a B.A. in Political Studies from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita. He also earned an Accredited Asset Management Specialist certification in 1999 from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO, and received his MBA with an emphasis in finance from Pepperdine University in 2006.
Michael and his wife Kimberly, together with their six children, ages 10 to 18, live in the Escondido area and are members of Escondido United Reformed Church. A strong advocate of Reformed Christian education at all levels, his children attend Calvin Christian School. Michael started his new position on December 17, and will be living in the Pasadena area during the work week and commuting home for the weekends until his family can complete their transition following the school year. Jack Hoekstra has agreed to continue in his present position as Director of Development for several months and will work alongside Michael to coordinate a seamless transition. In addition to his new role in donor development, Michael will work with Director of Enrollment Larissa Kamps to develop new strategies to promote Providence Christian College.
