Dr. David Corbin has been appointed to the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs, beginning July 1, 2018. Corbin comes to Providence after serving at The King’s College in New York City, as the Dean of their school of Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Throughout his 20+ year tenure in academia, he has taught political philosophy, American politics, international relations and politics & literature at the University of New Hampshire, Boston University, and Kings College. Dr. Corbin is a published author and has appeared in the Investor’s Business Daily, The New York Times, and numerous other nationwide publications. Corbin received his PhD in Political Science from Boston University in 2005, his MA in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1995, and his BA in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1993.
