Meet Your Counselor

The admissions staff at Providence all have one thing in common…we each had a life-changing four-year Christian college experience and we want the same for each student we come in contact with! It’s our calling to help students in this important process and to come alongside students and their families in all things big and small that are a part of the college decision. Contact us today with any questions you have about our course offerings, our community, or anything else. We’re here to help!

Morgan Zylstra

Morgan Zylstra

Admissions Counselor

Morgan Zylstra joined the admissions team at the beginning of 2019. Besides recruiting students as an admissions counselor, Morgan also serves as the campus visit day coordinator.

Originally from Oak Harbor, Washington, Morgan is a 2018 Providence graduate. Her undergraduate education has been beneficial to not only her mind but also her soul. She believes an education at Providence is very important for those who want to be lifelong learners, develop a strong relationship with Christ, and invest in a community of believers. She finds excitement in her work because she gets to share the love and appreciation for her education with prospective high school students every day. She is grateful to use her personal experience at Providence to guide students in their own understanding of God’s purpose for them.

Outside of the office, Morgan spends her time exploring the greater Los Angeles area. She enjoys almost every genre of music and is regularly exploring new coffee shops. She attends the Los Angeles Reformed Presbyterian Church.
