Dr. Hamilton brings over 35 years of experience in higher education to Providence.  Ann has a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership and Management and master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Nursing Education. She has continued to teach in the college classroom a variety of classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She currently teaches in the Masters of College Counseling and Student Development program at Azusa Pacific University and provides professional development for leadership at UC Riverside.

Ann has experienced education on a global scale by leading volunteer work projects around the world.  She worked with Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees, and has taught community health in the Dominican Republic.  She took 125 students from Biola University to South Africa and Swaziland to teach HIV/AIDS prevention education in the public schools, and most recently led a student team to the Ukraine to partner with a local church to build a playground and educational programming for children. Her passion is transforming lives through a Christ-centered education.
