Providence Expands into New Dorm
In anticipation of the largest incoming class in school history, Providence has added Townsend Hall as a residence hall and hired two new staff members to accommodate the growth.
The student life office has hired two community directors: Johnathan Kruis (’15) and Bethany Gioielli. The community directors will live alongside the students in residence life and oversee student life responsibilities.
“I’m really excited about having Bethany and Johnathan join the student life and Providence team,” Dean of Students Mark Rippetoe said.
Thanks to the college’s ongoing collaboration with Frontier Ventures (formerly William Carey International University), the rooms in Townsend have been remodeled, complete with a newly improved outdoor courtyard.
The rooms are arranged in quads–four two-person rooms with a shared bathroom. See pictures below.
