2017 GolF Fundraiser
April 13, 2017 marked the ninth annual Sea Beggar Scramble for Providence Christian College. This year, approximately 82 golfers gathered at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena to support and raise money for the athletic department. This year’s tournament welcomed a large number of new golfers, including groups made up
of student athletes from various sports teams. The “Dream Center” foursome (pictured) won the scramble.
The evening banquet included a silent auction and ra e prizes, as well as speeches from Head Baseball Coach Trevor Davidson and soccer student athlete Alex Cabral ’18. Cabral spoke of his experience transferring into Providence to nish his degree and playing for the men’s soccer program. He said these experiences have helped him grow in his faith, in service of others, and in leadership roles.
