Men’s Baseball Coaches

Head Coach Trevor Davidson

Before joining Providence as Head Coach, Trevor was previously the Assistant Baseball Coach for Biola University. His professional career included playing for the Victoria Seals (2010) and the Tucson Toros (2011). Before that Davidson played junior college baseball at the College of the Canyons before transferring to California Lutheran University. Davidson was an offensive catalyst for both the Cougars and Kingsman at the top in runs, RBI, doubles, home runs, stolen bases and BB’s earning all-conference honorable mention honors twice as an outfielder during his collegiate career.

Coach Davidson earned an Associates (AA) Degree in general studies during his time at College of the Canyons and turned his studies to business earning a B.A. in from California Lutheran University. Trevor has been involved in FCA baseball, most notably as an Assistant Coach for the SoCal Catch in the California Collegiate League.

 

Assistant Coach Cody Walter

A graduate of Providence Christian College, Cody Walter spent the last two seasons of his career playing primarily first and second base for the Sea Beggars. Cody also served as a captain for the baseball team during his time at Providence. Before coming to Providence, Cody attended and played baseball at Barstow Community College. At Barstow Cody earned his Associate of Arts in Social Science, receiving Summa Cum Laude. He graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Business and Social Science, receiving Cum Laude. Cody has also played in the Walter Johnson League for the Salina Blue Jays and in the Western Baseball Association for the Rancho Belago Rockets. This summer, Cody will be coaching in South Carolina in the Carolina Shores Collegiate Baseball League for the Cherry Grove Wave Riders.
