New to the Providence staff, but not to Providence, Elijah was part of the first graduating class in 2009. He has worked in portrait photography, sales, and also as an English Teacher, living and working in Shijiazhuang, China for two years.

A Southern California native, Elijah is passionate about Providence, its exceptional education, and its commitment to a Reformed worldview, where Christ is exalted in all things. He is excited, as part of the admission staff, to watch the Providence community grow and flourish. In his free time, Elijah enjoys reading history and classic literature, outdoor activities, eclectic music & classic movies, traveling, and eating all types of food–sushi and phở being his favorite.

He attends Christ Reformed Church (URC) in Anaheim and resides in Pasadena.

“Liberal arts is a conversation through which we obtain wisdom. True wisdom, then, founded in the fear and love of the Lord, engenders a desire for a deeper knowledge and love of one another, teaches us and aids us in forgiving and reconciling with one another and encourages us to explore together the limitless implications of our redeemed existence on this earth.”

“The Christian mind is the prerequisite of Christian thinking, and Christian thinking is the prerequisite for Christian action.”
