Peter Uwarow

Lecturer in English

Peter F. Uwarow grew up in South Carolina, the son of a Christian college professor. As such, he grew up appreciating higher Christian education. He received a B.A. in the Humanities from a small Christian university. After graduating, Peter immediately began teaching English at the Moldova College of Theology and Education in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. Five years later, he undertook the Theological Studies program at Westminster Seminary in California. After completing his M.A.T.S., Peter began teaching Philosophy and Biblical Studies at a private Christian high school in southern California. Peter currently teaches English and Ethics at San Joaquin Valley College and has been hired to teach Biblical Studies at Community Christian College. He is continuing his education at Fresno Pacific University. Peter serves as youth director and elder at The Community Church at Jess Ranch in Apple Valley, California.

Peter has been married to his beautiful wife Monica for two years; they are foster parents and plan to adopt in the near future. Peter and Monica enjoy running and gardening.
