Max Belz

Director of Experiential Learning

Max Belz originally joined the Providence staff as an admissions counselor in 2009 and has since transitioned to directing experiential learning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and education from Covenant College. He is currently earning an M.A. in education from Loyola Marymount University.

He enjoys his job because he gets to explore the variety and depth of California, while also working closely with the students. Max also is working with President Belcher to develop closer connections with the local churches. Thanks to a lifetime in and around Christian education, Max sees a Providence education as an essential foundation for life.

He enjoys all types of music and literature as well as singing, playing the piano and playing soccer. He and his wife Emily have three children: Otis, Rudy, and Davy Jean. They are members at Pacific Crossroads Church (PCA).
